Climb a classic route in the front ranges of the incredible Canadian Rockies with an experienced ACMG guide.   No lead climbing experience required, but some indoor climbing or outdoor top roping experience is recommended. Please make a custom booking request.

This one day course covers the fundamental skills for multi pitch sport climbing. After learning and practising the techniques at ground level, we will get on the wall and help you fine tune your lead technique. Then put the new skills to the test with a guide ready to help at any point and climb a mini multi-pitch then rappel back to the ground.  Previous experience lead climbing outdoors is required.

Improve your efficiency, learn the new belay techniques, and get personalised feedback to dial in your skills.

• Fixed point anchors and belay techniques

• Systems and considerations for teams of 3

• Protecting the second : navigating traverse and other challenges

• Double rope techniques

• Efficiency : anchor transitions and tricks to minimize faffing

Booking Confirmation and Itinerary

After registering for a course or completing a custom booking request you will receive an email confirmation and an itinerary for the course.  A pre-trip emailed will be sent 2-3 days prior to the course/confirmed booking date to confirm location, meeting place and time, and any weather or conditions considerations.

Transportation

Guests are responsible for their own transportation to and from the trip location.

Weather and Cancellation Policy

All programs will run as scheduled unless weather conditions are deemed to be a risk to the group. Participants should pack appropriate clothing for all possible weather conditions and for extended time outdoors. If you are a close contact or have COVID-19 related symptoms, you maybe able to reschedule your booking to a later date or be refunded the full cost of the program.
